I've been providing Chinese medicine-based ophthalmology treatments for over 15 years and I'm consistently amazed at the results. We have a tremendous opportunity as acupuncturists to provide effective care for eye conditions, such as macular degeneration, that western medicine often can't improve.
At this stage of my career, I feel my greatest gift is now that of teacher even more than practitioner. It is so rewarding to have taught over 75 acupuncturists how to treat retinal diseases. Spreading the seeds of knowledge only benefits everyone.
