Katherine Taromina, DACM, L.Ac. Katherine has been with the Integrative Therapies Program/Center for Comprehensive Wellness (ITP/CCW) for more than 10 years, first as one of the inaugural acupuncturists and now as the Program Manager.  Katherine is actively engaged in research related to the use of Chinese medicine and other integrative therapies with adult and pediatric cancer patients.

As a long term educator, she continues to serve as adjunct faculty at several acupuncture colleges, in addition to providing continuing education seminars on the role of Chinese medicine in supportive care in oncology for licensed acupuncturists.  Katherine serves on the Board of Trustees for the Society of Integrative Oncology (SIO) and as Chair and a Commissioner for the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM).  She practices several Chinese internal arts, including Xing Yi Quan and Ba Gua Zhang.  She is a student and assistant for Tom Bisio and an assistant instructor at New York Internal Arts (NYIA) and International Arts International (IAI).
