When talking to practitioners about growing their business, we often hear:

I’m overwhelmed…
I don’t know where to begin…
I lack confidence…

It is true that running a small business requires multiple streams of knowledge and best practices, some of which are far from the acupuncture and East Asian medical expertise that unites us. Juggling the many roles that entrepreneurship demands, is a lot.

The goal is to dig in with vision, confidence, discipline and tenacity. We know in our bones that one person cannot have all the answers in all facets of running a successful business. So, we have pitched a virtual big tent.

Join us and an outstanding lineup of high achievers, go-getters and creatives. Align with your aspirations, and fully immerse in this experience. You will learn how others found success, cultivated knowledge and actionable tools, to find it for yourself.

Clarify confusion, and overcome limiting beliefs

The
Allied Mission is to make you more capable as a practitioner.

Yes, you read that right. In the same way that there is no separation between mind and body, there is no separation between tending to business and your healing efforts.

Just like the complementary and inseparable expressions of Yin and Yang speak to an essential Unity, so does the business of your practice and your healing work.

Lack of confidence, inadequate direction and overwhelm is an impediment to the joyful and efficacious expression of your healing skills.

Here’s the good news.
Challenges make you more resilient as a business person, and more capable as a practitioner.

Embracing new mindsets and skills will allow you to better recognize, evaluate and navigate opportunities both in your business and treatment room.

This is capacity, and ultimately what grows a healthy acupuncture practice.

The fastest way to change yourself is to hang out with people who are already the way you want to be.

Here at Qiological we believe that the creation of a healthy and profitable business is teachable.

We also trust that given the structure and means, you can realize an authentic expression of practice
that serves both your heart and community.

Because there’s no way around it….we all start at the beginning.
Building personal capacity is the secret sauce that frames an authentic practice.

What is a Chautauqua?

The Chautauquas were an early 20th century American traveling show that provided fellowship to celebrate curiosity, learning and self-cultivation. The spirit of inclusivity provided a big tent atmosphere to gather and learn from one another.

We seek to reproduce the vitality, community and congenial spirit of the Chautauqua to explore all aspects of entrepreneurship for East Asian medical practitioners.

We recognize there is not a one-size-fits all solution, which is why we believe in an ‘open-source' culture. Learning essential skills while finding motivation and inspiration in the company of fellow travelers is powerful.

The Chautauqua is all about engagement and encouragement.
We seek to grow capacity, confidence and tenacity in a collective journey. We trust and understand that once you are given the established practices of a discipline, you need community to wrestle with the concepts to make it yours.

We have created a virtual campfire in the form of moderated discussion forums to overcome the human tendency to resist change.

You know—  shelving actionable skills for later in the procrastination and trepidation pile. Engaging with each other, and our diverse, creative and caring  moderators will provide sustenance to fan the curiosity flame.

The Practice of Practice Chautauqua is built on a foundation of community; we connect, problem solve, and infuse the magic of a healthy mindset and attitude.

We are stronger when we listen, and smarter when we share.
