That part about how Korea is a small country. Frequently attacked by larger countries. And so there is a focus on tonifying and nourishing. That makes sense to me. There are experiences a culture or country carry that shapes the character of the people. Of course, that would effect how medicine was conceptualized and practiced.
@wangzhanlaoban I remember an article once in the North American Journal of Oriental medicine comparing Chinese Acupuncture to stir fry and Japanese Acupuncture to Sushi . . . (makes me think of extending that . . . Saam being like KimChi!)
